Maybe change a bit in the UK before going to Croatia and then use the plentiful ATM%26#39;s once you get there.

The kuna has been holding up pretty well until the last few weeks when it dropped as low as 4.6 to the U.S. dollar. Most exchange bureaus do not charge commission and post this notice on their windows. Don%26#39;t change at the airport. Lots of ATM%26#39;s all over the place. Splitska Banka seems to have the most ATM%26#39;s. Right off the Peristil in the heart of the Palace is a Splitska terminal as well as another at Hypo Bank. Pick up a free copy of Diocletian%26#39;s Palace Map which identifies the ATM%26#39;s in the Palace but there are plenty all over town.
