Split area on Sunday

What can you do on Sunday in Split? I understand stores are closed, so no shopping on Sunday. Any museums open on Sunday or is everything shut down? How about Trogir? Is it also closed down on Sunday? We will be visiting Hvar for 4 nights %26amp; Brac, but that will not be on a Sunday. What do you suggest for activities? We like to hike %26amp; explore.

I would suggest you google all the sites %26amp; then do a walking tour. You may not inside places such as the PaLACE, but still worth it.

I have found couple of webs to get you started..

Perhaps a hiking day on Mosor or Kozjak, both hills are above Split, here’s how it looks:

Who says things are closed on Sunday? Most of the shops are open, but only until l or 2PM. But wonderful places like the Mestrovic Gallery is open all day, the Palace of course is ALWAYS open as is the terrific Split City Museum in the Papalic Palace and the Vidovic Gallery just inside the Silver or East Gate.

If the weather is decent, nothing more fun that to hop a ferry to Brac, Hvar or Solta, rent a motorbike and tool around. Check out www.visitsplit.com, the city%26#39;s excellent website
