I am travelling to Croatia in July and I have rented an apartment in Novalja.
My flight will reach Zadar at 8pm.
Which is the best way to reach Pag?
Rented Car? Bus? Taxi? Ferry? And what I am expected to pay for the transfer?

From the airport the best way is to get to Zadar and than tke the taxi for Novalja.

There is a bus and taxi line from the airport to Zadar and it%26#39;s distant about 8 km.

The transfer from airport to Zadar is only about 25 kuna. Taxi also is not very expensive.

Novalja is about 1, 20 minutes from Zadar.

Contrary to what has been said, the taxi fare from the airport to Zadar town is very expensive but the bus is fine. You could consider staying in Zadar overnight as the transfer to Novalja may be expensive also.

How about hiring a car. How is the drive? Quite safe? Are the roads ok? Bearing in mind I am only used to drive in London...lol

A few factual quotes from the Tourist Board today. Taxi from the airport into Zadar £30 and from the airport to Novalja £102. These quotes will vary from firm to firm but not by much.
Car hire for a week can be had for about £200 but you could hire for a shorter period. Try to visit Plitvice, wonderful.

Oh I didn%26#39;t do my research properly! I didn%26#39;t realise Pag was a lively Island. I%26#39;ve booked 2 weeks in Zadar (no deposit paid yet), but I could hardly tell them I only wanted to stay 1 week now with me arriving on Wed. 8th July! Kinda on a budget...are there regular ferries or buses that would take you to Pag? Would like to sample the nightlife there.
