How much to budget for 1.5 weeks?

Hi, how much should I budget (bring with me) for the following itinerary? I will be in the Croatia area for about a week and a half and will have accommodations for about half the time.

How much should I budget for food and spending/sightseeing (I%26#39;m not a big shopper)? Should I bring Euros or HRKs?

Itinerary:

Sarajevo (1-2 nights, staying with people)

Dubrovnik and area (3-4 nights, staying with people)

Zagreb / Plitvice Park (3-4 nights, need to find budget lodging)

Hi,

I%26#39;ve just got back from a holiday in croatia. I can only speak for how much things were in Dubrovnik.

To walk around the old town walls it was 50kuna, that%26#39;s definately worth doing as the views are incredible. You can go in all of the churches free of charge.

For food and drink, in the old town it%26#39;s expensive but if you walk just outside the walls the prices drop. There are a few small mini markets and bakeries where you can get essentials. Ice cream is loads cheaper if you go out of the old town.

Boat trips to the islands were around 300kuna, or short boat trips around the walls etc were around 100kuna. To visit cavtat which is across the bay it was 80 kuna return or you can get the bus for 12 kuna each way.

Hope this helps :)

I will just comment on the money you should bring. I think the best idea would be to use the ATM%26#39;s that are there and take out kuna as you need them. But if you are choosing between the two, euros or kuna, definitely bring kuna as everyone will accept kuna.

It depends on your needs, but I never take to much money with me. I%26#39;m used to use an ATM credit card cash service.
