Booking accomodation vs just turning up?

We%26#39;re off to Croatia tomorrow morning and have only booked about half our accomodation.

We arrive in Split but head off to Bol the same day and have booked our first three nights there.

WE then plan to head to Hvar and Korcula for 3 and 2 nights respectively. But we have not booked any accomodation yet for these two islands and are hoping to play it by ear. Do you think that we will be able to find accomodation if we just turn up at the ferry/bus ports etc? I heard that this was likely at this time of year (late September) but I am wondering if this is still the case.

We have then booked our final accomodation in DUbrovnik and Trogir.

Thanks In Advance,

Yes, you will find accommodation - in particular people tend to meet forms of trasnport arriving, such as boats or buses. If not, look for accommodation/tourist agencies or knock on doors of places that say SOBE or APARTMANI outside (little blue signs).

Just got back and yes you%26#39;ll be absolutely fine. Lots of sobe ladies waiting anxiously for your business.

I also agree that you should be able to show up and find decent accomodations.

now just got to hope the weather isn%26#39;t as awful as it%26#39;s currently forecast!
