I am travelling to Croatia in September and was wondering if i should get some Croatian Kuna? I have been quoted in euros for everything but was wondering if it would be a good idea to have some of the local currency.

kuna is the currency. u wont need euros for shops etc

You will need Croatian Kuna for the bus, small shops, newwpapers and generally anything you might want to purchase. Apartment owners quote in Euros, but most will also accept Kuna.
