hotel or short term rental

Hello,

Planning to visit Zagreb for Christmas. Person we are visiting is in Gornji Grad. Any suggestions for reasonable short term apartment rental (maybe 10 days) or a hotel? Heard of Hotel Jadran, but some reviews said it is expensive for what you receive. Since we will not have a car, something within a bus ride or walking distance would be great. Thanks.
