Hvar or Brac? HELP!!!!!

Hello,

I have return flights for 6 nights in Split but looking at spending some of this time in Hvar or Brac, perhaps 3 nights?

Basically we%26#39;re 2 girls who need a break, we%26#39;ll probably stay in a hostel (any recommendations?) we%26#39;re on a bit of a budget!

We just really need a holiday so we%26#39;re looking to walk around a bit, have a few coffees and a nice look at things, perhaps sit on a beach if it%26#39;s warm enough mid sept!

.......then party party party at night time!

Any suggestions at all we would be really grateful for!

I would choose Hvar ;)

From Hvar you can take the daily trip to Bol on the island of Brac.

In Sept. you do not have to book in advance so I suggest you to come to Hvar and somebody will meet you in front of the catamaran and offer you place to sleep so choose the best offer and lower price ;)

For what it%26#39;s worth...there is hardly a better beach in Croatia than the beach in Bol called Zlatni Rat. I think you could work in both...but Bol is a great place. I have not been to Hvar. Some of my family has and they loved it. I did find Bol to be a great place for what you are looking for. If the beach is one of your priorities, Bol is the place in my mind.

Hvar Town is the expensive party place and I%26#39;d then put Bol on Brac down as the number 2 spot. The beach at Bol is lively (crowded, lots of water sports) and in Hvar you can get to the Pakleni islands opposite the town. Each boat at Stari Grad is met by buses to Hvar Town.
