weather in the beginning of oct to mid oct

Hi all,

How is the weather in Zadar, Split and Dubrovnik from the beginning to mid october? I know that summer would have passed but does it rain so often during this period?

Good question - I will be in Split and Dubrovnik at that time as well! I assume early October - known to be better for fewer crowds - is the end of the %26quot;shoulder%26quot; season for a reason: cooler temperatures, greater chance of rain. I%26#39;m hoping for good weather too of course but have already resigned myself to some rain. If we%26#39;re lucky and get good weather, all the better!

I did well in Italy in early October 2007 - only got cold at the end, almost no rain. I%26#39;m crossing my fingers for similar weather again for this trip!
