Hi,
My partner and I will be spending a week in the Lapad/ Dubrovnik area. Does anyone know roughly how much spending money in euro/kuna would be needed. Accomodation %26amp; flights are already paid.
Thanks!

This is a very difficult question as everyone has different spending habits. Do you plan to take tours or day-trips to other parts of Croatia or to the islands? When you dine out, do you mostly eat cheaply (pizza %26amp; pasta or sandwiches) or do you dine at more expensive restaurants (seafood, meat, etc)? For a general idea of prices, a coffee in Lapad costs about 1.50 Euro (2 Euro + in the Old Town), a beer costs about 2 Euro, a pizza about 8 Euro, grilled squid or risotto (two popular Croatian dishes) cost about 10 Euro, grilled fresh fish about 20 - 30 Euro per person, and a steak costs about 20 Euro. Ferries to the islands are quite cheap (only a couple of Euro per person), but day trips can range from 30 Euro per person on a bus to 100 Euro per person for a private car. I hope this helps.

My girlfriend and I got through around €650 in 6 days eating in cafes and having excursions such as Mostar and the three island cruise.
ATMs are reasonably widespread though and credit cards accepted most places so don%26#39;t worry unduly if you don%26#39;t take enough cash.

Hi,
I%26#39;ve just been reading the costs os things in Dubrovnik and I noticed everything was quoted in euros. I have Croatian Kuna - are price sin euros and kunas or only euros??
Thanks

Prices are in Croatian Kuna for everything except when quoted for prices of accommodation when these are usually quoted in Euro but can be paid for in Croatian Kuna in most cases
Have a good trip !
