The way to go is:

Plitvice - Zadar

Zadar - Paklenica

You will find some info here, but be sure to check things out on the reception office (Plitvice) and bus station (Zadar).

THANK YOU. are their lockers at zadar bus terminal? any idea the cost of a taxi from zadar to starigrad (which is where i discovered the hotel is)? just in case they miss the bus

Zadar station has lockers, 1,2 kuna per hour, so a day (24 hrs) would be about 4 euros.

Think they should not worry about missing the bus since these are frequent – all buses that take the coastal road from Zadar to Rijeka (more than a dozen a day) drive through Starigrad (not all are scheduled to stop in Starigrad so make sure to tell the driver to drop you off). Not sure about the cost of taxi.
