Hi, would like to ask anyone who would know which is the better option in terms of time duration (quicker), safer, more picturesque and also cheaper route to take from Zagreb to Greece.
Via Zagreb to Split, Dubrovnik, Montenegro then Corfu?
or
Via Zagreb to Belgrade (or Sarajevo or Nis) then to (Sofia?) or straight to Thessaloniki?
Hoping for any tips you may have.
Thanks!

Zagreb-Belgrade-Thessaloniki – the handiest and the quickest.
Zagreb – Croatian coast – Montenegro – Greece – way more picturesque but more complicated ie requires more planning

There is no direct ferry service from Dubrovnik to Greece. If you want to visit Greece on this trip, you will need to fly from Zagreb. This is the shortest time, however you will miss the entire Dalmatian coast which would be a shame. Perhaps you might consider making Greece a separate trip.

Thank you for the tips and recommendations. As much as we would like to make Greece another trip, we can%26#39;t. So, we may have to include Greece in this trip.
Can I ask if how easy or difficult will it be to get to Greece from Montenegro?
Thank you again.

This question pops up every once in a while, not handy but is doable.
There are buses and minibuses running from Ulcinj (south of Montenegro) towards Albania (via Shkodra to Tirana), from there to Greece you need to take another bus/mini bus.
Alternative to this is ferry: Dubrovnik – Bari (Italy) – Igumenitsa (Greece).
