Based in Hvar - Are there any day trips to Vis and Korcula

We would prefer to be based in one island and visit the others and Hvar lokks more central. Is this possible ?

You cannot take a day trip to Korčula from Hvar unless you use an agency and book a tour - you can take a day trip from Korčula to Hvar

As to Vis this depends on when you are travelling as the ferries change at the end of September but you would have to travel to Split first and then on to Vis to the best of my knowledge

Maybe if you said when you were travelling another poster can tell you about this or I can look at the ferry schedule for that time

came back from Hvar on Friday 11th Sept 09. We also had an idea of visiting other islands while in Hvar. We stayed 10 days in Hvar and went to different places every day. There was more than enough to explore on and around Hvar island without going further. We even did not manage to see many parts of Hvar yet (like Jelsa, around Milna and Sucuraj).

The available excursions to other islands at this time of the year were: to Vis (Komiza, blue cave and green cave)and Brac (Bol beach). There are many taxi boats to Pakleni otoci:to Palmizana every 30 minutes and to Jerolim and Stipanska every 15-20 minutes.
