Airport transfers

We are coming to Dubrovnik at the beginning of October and are staying in a hotel in Lapad. Can anyone please tell me the easiest way to get from the airport to the hotel. Thanks.

The easiest way would be to hire a cab..then you know you will be let off exactly where you need to be.

I wouldn%26#39;t take a taxi all the way from the airport. Take the Atlas bus (5 Euros, 30 mins, very easy) to at least the Pile gate outside the old city and then you have two choices: taxi from there (I did it once and paid about 70 Kuna/10 Euros), or the city buses are really fast and convenient and pass by everything in Lapad. Tickets are cheap and they can tell you which bus you need to get to your hotel - will likely take 10-15 mins.

Good luck.

But the poster asked for the easiest way, not the most economical way.

we are also going at the beginning of october and are staying in a hotel in lapad. I have prebooked a taxi to pick us up at the airport its roughly 30 euros each way, if you want the number let me know

Thanks for the information. I think probably everyone asks this but do most places take euros as well as kunas? Would I be better off taking a mixture of kunas and euros with me?

id just take kunas as that is their currency theres no need for euros. some shops we went in took them but i think they charge u xtra for it (not offically)

Hi - are taxis pretty easy to get at the airport? Are they all %26quot;official/legal%26quot; ones or do you have to be as careful as you are in say, Rome?

Thanks!

Hi, I booked a taxi with www.taxiservicedubrovnik.com before I went, you can go onto their website and they will give you a quote as to how much it will cost, then when you arrive the driver will be standing at arrivals with your name on a sign. I will definitely use this company again.
