Hello: I was told that you are better off using the local currency (Kunas) in Croatia compared to the Euro. Would it be wise to bring just a bit of Euros as spending money and withdraw Kunas from banking machines (ABM, ATM) with my bank card? Will I run into trouble? I don%26#39;t know if there are a lot of automated banking machines in Croatia. Does anyone know? I am going to Trogir, Split, Hvar, Korcula and Dubrovnik.
Thanks,

ATM%26#39;s are everywhere on the coast so go with that. I have been to all of the places you are going and all have ATM%26#39;s. And all of Croatia uses the kuna so there is no use bringing any other currency.

You can find the ATM everywhere....

Don%26#39;t take euro%26#39;s,you might as well take Guatemalan Quetzales.
The Kuna is the official currency of Croatia.
ATM%26#39;s are plentiful in the coastal regions and they offer the menu options in English.

Thanks to everyone who wrote me about ATM%26#39;s in Croatia - very helpful!!! I will be glad to withdraw the local currency (KUNAS)!

Have a great time in Croatia.
Korcula is a particular favourite of mine.
A lot like Dubrovnik but with 10% of the tourists.
Enjoy spending your Kuna%26#39;s!
