On my upcoming trip to Croatia, I have two nights planned in Korcula. I was looking at booking at the Apartments Lenni, which supposedly is very centrally located and well reviewed in general. However, one reviewer mentioned it was close to a big church and on a Sunday morning it sounded like he was inside the bell tower while in the apartment! I know Croatia is a serious Catholic country and the locals in Korcula probably wouldn%26#39;t complain about such things. But I%26#39;ll be there on a Sunday morning...
So am I likely to encounter this anywhere close-in in the town of Korcula on a Sunday morning, not just this specific apartment? I really want to be centrally located, but I don%26#39;t want to wake up at 7am on a Sunday morning, either (especially since I think I need to be up at 5:30 the following morning to catch a catamaran!). Or maybe I%26#39;m worrying too much and shouldn%26#39;t worry about a few church bells?

Have an enjoyable meal out with some Prosek as an aperitif, local wine with the main course and some slivovitz after and the bells could be ringing 5 yards from your bed and you won%26#39;t be bothered!

We stayed just down the street and I don%26#39;t remember the bells being a problem. Mass is at 9 or 10, not terribly early, and just closing your windows cuts down on the noise. There was more noise from the video game player next door.
