Travel back from Split

I%26#39;ve looked for this on previous posts, but haven%26#39;t found it:

When is the last bus back from Split to Trogir and where exactly does it leave from in Split?

Also, how much is a taxi from Split to Trogir at night? Where would we get one?

Thanks for any help.

I tried a Monday in August and a Saturdya and it seems to be 23.45 It leaves from the bus station right by the port. There may be a later local bus (37) from the local bus station fruther north.

Look at the Split bus station website: ak-split.hr/EN/…VozniRedOdlazaka.aspx

No idea re cost of taxi - but Trogir is about 25 km from Split so I%26#39;d expect it to be expensive. A taxi from the airport to Trogir (about 7 km) is about £17.

You have two choices from Split to Trogir. You can go to the coach station, by the ferry port, and get an %26quot;intercity%26quot; coach direct to Trogir. Or you can get a local bus which goes around all the villages in between. The bus station is near Hotel Globo, half way between Split Riva (seafront) and Hotel Atrium.

Split coach station (though it calls itself a bus station), is the best option. Trogir timetable, shows last bus at 23.45 hours. ak-split.hr/EN/…VozniRedOdlazaka.aspx.

I%26#39;d allow around 250 kunas (about £30) for a taxi to Trogir. You%26#39;ll find them at the fruit and vegeatable market end of the Riva but if you%26#39;re clubbing or in a restaurant they will call one for you and give you a better estimate of cost.

Hi Jude C - working on this at the same time and glad to see we came up with roughly the same answers!

Thanks folks! Reassuringly similar answers, which were very helpful.

Just a warning: we went for the 23:45 bus shown on the internet and it didn%26#39;t exist (the last one being at 23:30 in fact). We arrived just as it was pulling away and we had to get a taxi. I forget how much it was now, but it was less than 200Kn.

Not the only time on our trip that the printed timetables didn%26#39;t agree with those found on the internet!

Updating bus timetables is an interesting thing. I know that the bus timetable for the Trogir bus station has changed and gone onto a low season one but the Trogir bus station website still shows the one for 15/06/09.
