We are planning a family holiday to croatia this october. Anyone got any idea what the weather is like in Croatia in October. Any suggestions for a family holiday there in terms of hotels which are family friendly, we have 2 children aged 6 years and 11 years.

First of all it depends where will you spend your holiday. In the south part of Croatia, October can be very nice, not for swimming, but the average temperature are about 15-20 C, and you can do some nice walking and biking tours. In the continental part of Croatia temperatures are lower.

South is warmer but other half of Oct. most of the services are hibernating.Probably best bet is to stay in big(ger) cities and buzz around.Think Zadar,Sibenik,Split,Dubrovnik

There are no rules, but October can be sunny and not cold... About the hotels, you should choose the place where you would like to stay before, so we can suggest some hotels in determinate zone.
