buses on brac

We are staying in Bol at the beginning of September and don%26#39;t really want to hire a car, what is the bus service like around the island?.

hope this isn%26#39;t too late for your visit to Brac. We%26#39;ve just returned from Bol and were not keen on renting a car either. The bus service between Supetar and Bol as both reliable and comfortable. The time table is available online. A return ticket beteen Supetar and Bol cost about 56 Kuna. Tickets can be bought either form the driver or at the ticket offices in either Bol or Supetar.

The %26quot;hub%26quot; for the bus network on Brac seemed to be in Supetar and you may need to travel there if you want to travel around the island.

There are lots of excursions available by boat from Bol. We can recommend the trip to the Monastery at Blaca. Be prepared for a long, steep walk afetr you get off the boat though. You may find it easier to travel by water both to other destinations on Bol and also to the neighbouring island of Hvar.
