I am thinking of travelling to Zadar in mid September for a week with my husband. We would like to do some hill walking, cycling and also have some beach time. We were not going to hire a car. Can anyone recommend a location where we could stay which would be suitable for all of the above.
Should we split the accommodation/ location into two locations? No sure what the transport system is. Any advise on where we should visit and accommodation would be brilliant.

Nin is the area for you. You have a huge hinterland with great spots to cycle and hike and plenty of private apartments to choose from
