vat refund

Has anyone claimed a vat refund from Croatia? Does it exist , to what does it apply , and how does one go about getting it ?

Just googled a bit(I hate to see posts with 0 answers)

Yes,you can claim the VAT refund(23% at the moment)for each invoice amounting at least 500 kuna, verified by the Croatian Customs when leaving Croatia(you must be able to show the exported goods to the customs officer). Besides the invoice for the goods, there must be filled another form in the shop where you buy. The refund must be claimed within 6 months from the date of invoice, either personally in the shop or through an authorized agency in your country , who will take certain percentage for their service.

You must have your passport when buying.
