Planning on staying 5 nights in Postira in a couple weeks. Everything I%26#39;ve read about it sounds fab. A few comments leans towards calling Postira beautiful, but sleepy.
Wanting to chill out on holiday, we%26#39;re happy to hear it%26#39;s relaxing;however, want to make sure there are a couple of places to go for dinner/evening drinks. Nothing crazy, but just want to make sure the town doesn%26#39;t close down at 9pm!
Any advise/info would be great.
Cheers

make sure you visit Konoba Toni in a small village called Dol, about 2 km from Postira. Don%26#39;t take the car!

Postira is a sleepy place - a harbour with a few small yachts and real fishing boats. There are three or four bars on the harbour, but if they do food it will be very simple snacks (we didn%26#39;t try). There are two very new hotels (maybe 50/60 rooms) which to my eye looked rather clinical and out of place and I got the feeling that you would be offered decent if uninspiring stuff in the company of people who like that sort of thing.
A lot of people rave about Konoba Toni in Dol (3km inland) and it%26#39;s fine but we preferred Stori Gust about 200m beyond Toni which is much more simple and the fish is better - just really well priced %26quot;class 1/white fish%26quot; and meats over a wood fire. The owner speaks good English. We paid cash, don%26#39;t know if they take cards
