My husband and I will be leaving Dubrovnik on Sunday Sept 6th and have about 5 days to spend in the rest of Croatia. We would like to do some moderate/hard hiking and maybe mountain biking, plus see at least one of the islands. There seems to be a number of national parks between Split and Istria and they all seem to be great. Does anyone have any recommendations to help us narrow down the choices? Thanks!

For real hiking and adventure, stick to Zadar/šibenik area
Zara adventure would be a good choice for a local agency
