Does anyone have any suggestions please for a nice averaged price apartment with sea view, in or near Dubrovnik for October for retired couple? There are so many available but difficult to choose. We are not sure whether to stay inside the town or out as we like it quiet but convenient for site-seeing restaurants and beach swimming. We don%26#39;t intend to rent a car as there seems to be a lot to see without travelling far so would require collection from airport possibly.

I would suggest not staying right in the Old Town as it might get a bit too noisy there. I would recommend something in the Ploce neighborhood, but the problem with many of these places is climbing many stairs to get to the apartment. The great thing is the view of Old Town and Lokrum though.

Hi We stayed in Dubrovnik in April (my parents and myself). We stayed in the old town and it was really quiet and was very convenient for the restaurants and cafe%26#39;s. It was also close to the marina and just a very short walk from the beach in Dubrovnik. The company we used were called Artemida Apartments. They were very helpful and even picked us up from the aiport. We hired Apartment Bete and Room Bete (two rooms). Both were very well equipped (fridge, cookers, table etc).
