currency in Korcula Croatia

It%26#39;s 23 yrs since we were in Korcula for our silver wedding anniverary!!! (Planning our next trip for September.)

Then it was part of Yugoslavia.

What I want to know is: Is it best to have the local currency or will travellers cheques be acceptable? What about credit and debit cards?

Did I understand correctly that your golden wedding unniversary is coming soon?

You can pay almost everywhere with credit cards, and get the Croatian currency kuna at the ATM terminals.

Foreign currency will not be accepted, only exceptionally.

Thankyou Jelsa, really helpful reply...

I think 50 yrs of marriage is a Golden Anniversary... we are just approaching 47!!!

Can%26#39;t wait to visit Korcula again

I wouldn%26#39;t bring travelers checks. Use the plentiful ATM%26#39;s in Croatia. Have a great trip!
