We are flying out of Zadar around lunchtime in late September and want to stay our last night in Croatia somewhere en route to Zadar from Split where we will have stayed for 3 nights. I would be grateful for any suggestions re locations and/or suggestions for accommodation. Thanks

Šibenik, Vodice or Biograd as the closest option

Thanks for the speedy response - which of those three is the most picturesque spot to stay?
|||
Šibenik is fascinating for history and Vodice became really ugly lately... Biograd is nice.
|||
I would drive the coastal road and stop somewhere near the sea, Pakoštane or Biograd to swimm and sleep and the last morning walk the beautiful port of Biograd and then to Zadar, walk around the center (if you had not done it already) and good bye till the next time!

Why not Zadar itself? If not, another vote for Biograd.
|||
I just thought that it is simpler to stop anywhere along the coast, without parking problems, just in front of some beautiful house near the sea.

Just to stir things up. Primosten (cool %26quot;floating%26quot; part) or Skradin (is it on the blue sea? is it on the green river?)

Thanks very much for all the tips. We are staying in Zadar when we arrive and also in Primosten, we think, en route down to Dubrovnik. Then back up to Split before heading back to Zadar for our flight. We also plan to spend a night in Plitvice. What is the %26quot;cool floating part%26quot; of Primosten??
