Hi
Im flying to Dubrovnik tomorrow with couple of friends, Im not sure of some of the places and I%26#39;d be happy to get some advices.
Our plan is to get from Dubrovnik to Novalja (by car) in few days and to check all the nice beaches %26amp; landscapes on the way with some nice parties at night.
This is what we thought of:
Day 1 - Landing in Dubrovnik, checking Banje beach and driving to Lapad Peninsula afterwards to check all the view from above. then heading to Split (what roads do you recommend so we could enjoy the view on the way and not loosing too much time? and Are we going to pass throught Bosnia on the way? I mean is it the regular way?).
Afterwards well stop on the way in Baska Voda beach (if it wont be too late) and then finding some accomodations in Split or Trogir (we prefer a nice cheap appartment with a nice breakfast).
Day 2 - Checking Baska Voda Beach and then moving the Zlatni Rat beach on Brac island (can we get there with our car? and how much do you think it should cost?). afterwards getting to Hvar (same question as before) and probably staying the night in Hvar (checking Carpe Diem or Veneranda at night)
Day 3 - Maybe checking Vis island (what do you think about the island?) and getting back to Split (from where do you recommend we should get the ferry?), then heading to Krka national park and afterwards to Sibenik marina if well have some time.. and then driving all the way to Novalja.
Day 4 - Relaxing in Novalja
Day 5 - Going to Plitvice Lakes and getting back to Pag island.
Day 6 - Checking Krk (any recommended places / views in there?) and Baska Beach and later on to Zadar / Vodice for the night.
Day 7 (last day) - Going to Kornati Island? (what do you think?) and maybe stopping in one of Trogir beaches, and then getting back asll the way to Dubrovnik.
Is it all possible in one week? what do you think?
If you got any suggestions or feedback on any of these ideas, it would be much appreciated!

Your proposed itinerary is possible, but you%26#39;ll not have time to see any of the Dalmatian coast. You will be sitting in a car driving, you show no time at any of these destinations. All of the roads are not great, some are rather slow. Personally I would do half of these lovely places and enjoy time at each. However do what you feel is best for your group.
Dobrodosli u Dubrovnik

This is VERY HARD!!!! Croatia is not a small country (unless you are looking at a globe)
Expect 2-3 hours to Baska voda from Dubrovnik. You can reach Brac only from Makarska (port of Sutivan) or Split so that is about 1 day journey
Day 3 - Vis?!?!? Impossible...
Krka maybe but you will need an hour there, 3 hours in the park and then about 2,5 hours to Novalja.
Day 5 - possible but very demanding
Day 6 - almost impossible unless you by %26quot;checking%26quot; you mean getting out of the car and taking a look before heading back
day 7 - rent a speed boat and then it is possible (cc 1500 Euros per day+gas)
Stay in Dubrovnik and head to Hvar. End with two nights in Split with visit to Krka and Vodice for nightlife...

Your post is quite contradictory - on the one hand you have read lots about great places to see but nothing about the practicals on reaching such places.
You want to chill out and enjoy the landscapes, yet have allowed so little time to take in the joys of anything. I think that%26#39;s an ambitious itinerary for 2-3 weeks.
I think your best bet is to pick up the car and go with the flow, stop off when the mood takes you and stay wherever the vibe suits, throw away your checklist of places to see and enjoy.

1) Too much to do in one day... I don%26#39;t think you can go to Banje, relax there and think you are going to get to Split in the same day. Also the view of Dubrovnik would be in Mt Srd, not Lapad.
2)your map skills are poor because you already left Baska Voda and now you are leaving from there to Brac??
3) Have Scottie beam you up to the Starship from place to place and you will be able to handle all of this in one day!
4) I give up.

thank u for your comments, I guess its a little too much :)
I changed the plan to get the most of the main places, please tell me if im not exaggerating again :)
Day 1 - Landing in Dubrovnik, checking Banje beach and driving to Lapad Peninsula afterwards to check all the view from above then heading straight to Primosten (party next to the town) to find some accomodations,
Day 2 - checking Sibenik Marina or Vodice Beach (what do you think is nicer?) and getting to Krka National Park, afterwards getting to Novalja on the A1
Day 3 - Chilling in Novalja
Day 4 - Going to Plitvice Lakes and getting back to Pag island.
Day 5 - Back to Split and taking a ferry to Brac island, later taking a ferry to Hvar and staying the night in Hvar.
Day 6 - Taking a ferry to Island Vis? (what do you think about the Island? , I know theres a nice club in there (club aquarius))
Day 7 - Getting Back to Split (is there a ferry to Split or should we take one to Hvar and from Hvar to Split (how much time do you think itll take?) then getting back to Dubrovnik Airport
please tell me what do you think im Flying withing 12 hours , thank you!

barrymanilow - about the view from Mt Srd - the road seems very difficult and long -how much time do you think it should be taking?

Exagerating again!
If you don%26#39;t want to listen to advice given here take a look at the ferry timetables and road distances/journey times (that%26#39;s before holiday traffic on the coastal roads):

These posts make my head spin! Please look at a map and realize that 90% of what you want to do is not doable.
|||
I gave you the outlines of the perfectly doable trip but you don%26#39;t seem to listen and keep trying to do it your way.
Forget Islands under two nights,,,

Make sure you have the airline schedule for the days following your departure time from Dubrovnik. If you attempt your proposed itinerary there%26#39;s no chance you%26#39;re going to make it back to Dubrovnik in time for your flight.
However it appears that you are determined to %26quot;do%26quot; the Dalmatian coast in one short week. It can be done however don%26#39;t plan on having any time to rest, swim or party. You%26#39;re going to be moving every minute of every day. Good luck, you%26#39;re going to need it.
