Apartment Ivancica, Old Town Dubrovnik

We are 2 adult couples and this rental, Apartment Ivancica in Old Town Dubrovnik, looks great. Does anyone have experience with this rental?

Generally speaking staying in the old town means you will have some noise from the drinkers during the wee hours. However this choice is located just a bit away from the main drag. It%26#39;s a nice location, very close to the best museum in town. Also there is a nice restaurant just below at the beginning of the steps. You do not mention time of year you%26#39;ll be here and I noticed they do not have AC. If you are planning to stay in Dubrovnik during our hot and humid summer months, you must have an AC especially inn the old town. Tell us your time frame for visiting Dubrovnik, please.

We will be in Dubrovnik in late October....in a few weeks.

We arrive at night, have two full days to explore, and plan to pick up a car on the following day to spend one day driving to Montenegro with a stop in Cavtat en route.

Any recommendations in Dubrovnik would be greatly appreciated.

From there we wanted to go to Korkula or Hvar for a night or two but it appears that the Jadrolinija car ferry runs that route only twice a week, necessitating 3 nights - too long for us. Is there another car ferry company that might have a different day at that time of year so that we can still manage a brief island stay?
