Have just returned from a wonderful week in Zadar. We stayed at Apartment Miodrag, near Borik, about 15 mins walk from Zadar Old Town. Nico, the owner picked us up from the airport,(charged €15 which is good value for the distance), and gave us a tour of the old town on the way. The apartment is just a few years old, and is of really high standard, very comfortable and well laid out. It has 1 bedroom and a good sized terrace, which we really appreciated for eating outside, reading etc. We could get to the sea in about 2 mins, but about 10 mins walk (or less) brought us to a lovely swimming spot, and another 5 to a lovely beach/park, Borik. Nico was around in the background if needed, and offered to bring us to some of the national parks if we wanted. We chose to stay nearer to the sea. There were lots of nice restaurants within easy wlking distance, especially liked Lungo Mare, and on our last day had a wonderful lunch at Mama Rina in Borik, wish we had found this place earlier! There is also another apt in the building, 2 bedrooms with balconies, also really nicely laid out, but it doesent have a terrace. For our accommodation we were charged €52 per night. 15 euro is not a good price if you consider that a bus coasts about 2, 5 euro (25 kuna) for the center. For Borik you should take another bus and in 15 minutes get to Borik with the ticket that coast 8 kune (something more than 1, 10 euro). I didn%26#39;t pay 15 euro in Istanbul and the distance from the airport is much longer. Usually, when the owner comes to pick you up, he does it for free. Anyway....
Maybe you should post this as a review so the other people could see it.

Well when you arrive into a strange place at night and don%26#39;t know the transport system, much less the exact place that you%26#39;re going to its nice to be picked up. I was comparing the price with taxi prices mentioned on Trip Advisor for the journey to Borik, some people mentioned being charged €20 and more. I usually use public transport when I can.
