I am considering a break to Croatia and have narrowed it down to either Cavtat or Makarska - can anyone tell me if these resorts are similar in size/facilties i.e variety of restaurants/nice bars to choose from. Also, how easy is it to transfer from each respective airport to each resort. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am looking for a busy resort (not rowdy!) with plenty to do and see.

I would pick Cavtat for a couple of reasons, first of all it is right next to Cilipi airport and you don%26#39;t have to worry about long travels from your airport. I would also choose Cavtat because it would be more peaceful than Makarska. The third reason is its close proximity to Dubrovnik which will allow you to easily get to enjoy Dubrovnik and all that it has to offer.

Makarska would definitely be more lively, but again, Cavtat would be so much closer to the airport.
