I was thinking of staying at Guesthouse S%26amp;L. We have a car and they said that it had parking. has anyone stayed there and was familiar with the prking situation?

I have not stayed there and have not yet been to Dubrovnik - but I googled it and found links to it on Hostelbookers and several other sites, all of which have numerous reviews of the place. (It%26#39;s not available for my dates in October so I can%26#39;t stay there.) I%26#39;d follow all those links found in Google and read through the pages and pages of reviews - and see if any mention parking.

I ended up booking a room there for 9/21%26amp;22/09. It said it had parking. They had alot of good reviews and I read most of them. I am going to Lake Bled 9/16%26amp;17 and Plitvic Natinal Park 9/19/09 and Split 9/20/09. I am booked a room in lake Bled and Split. I am going to wing it in Istria from 9/23,24/09.

Be prepared that this property is located in the port of Gruz. This is a 15 minute bus ride into the old town or about 1/2 hour walk slightly uphill. Having a car in Dubrovnik is not necessary as there is very little chance to park close to the old town and many one way streets. You are better off using public transportation while in Dubrovnik.
Do download the map from the Dubrovnik tourist bureau website and this will help you get your bearings.
