Hello,
I am off to Dubrovnik on 10th October, can somebody tell me if both these bars are open?
Also, i know they are difficult to find - i just look for the sign that says cold drinks in the city walls facing the sea. Is this the same for both of them? are they colse to each other? how do they differ...
I can wait to go...

Maybe, just depends on the weather.

Buza 1 was open last night - but it was great weather, quite warm and sunny. I shot the sunset from up there (well, just above it, on the steps leading down to the bar). AMAZING sunset - wow!!!

I was there in October a few years back and one of them was open, I didn%26#39;t even realise there are two of them.

I walked the city walls yesterday and I could see Buza 1 and 2 open and full of people. It was quite warm yesterday (October 7) so I expect both to be open for at least the next two weeks.

Don%26#39;t assume! This is Croatia, there are no set rules and Buza is privately owned. When he%26#39;s had enough and the weather begins to change, he will close.

Today in Dubrovnik it was pouring rain from a very big thunderstorm we had come in from the north, along with much cooler temperatures. The rain is expected to continue for the next several days. Doubt if Buza will be open much longer and no way will it be another two weeks. Weather can change here very quickly, one day warm and sunny and the next cold and wet.
Right now most of the outdoor bars and restaurants are looking at opening and closing on a daily basis. Might be next week or may be tomorrow if the weather continues like today. But the only way to know if Buza is open, take the walk up there and look for yourself. It%26#39;s a hit or miss at this time of the year.
