We are looking to go to Lapad next year but wonder what excursionas are available. Interseted in Mostar and possibly Montenegro. We do not want to hire a car though, has any one done these excursions and if so how long do they take, how much are they and are they worth it.
Would welcome advice on any other trips folks have recently been on.

You can take day trips to Mostar and Montenegro by bus or private car. A bus trip with Atlas is the cheapest way to go if you don%26#39;t mind being with a large group. If you prefer a private tour, you can hire a private car with a driver/guide for about 200 - 220 Euros. It will of course be more expensive if you have more people and need a larger vehicle.

Sorry! I forgot to say where you can arrange a private tour. There are lots of local agencies in Dubrovnik. A good one is called Florio car. I took one of his tours which was great and he seems to be popular on this forum as well.

Thanks for the advice, I was hoping not to have to hire a car as I like to relax and let someone else do the hard work. Do you know how long it actually takes to get to Mostar and Montenegro by bus and how much roughly it costs?
