Trogir - Cathedral

Hi,

My parents and aunties are arriving in Trogir on Sunday morning. My aunties would like to attend a mass in the cathedral (or any other catholic church) on sunday afternoon or evening as they will not be able to go before they travel on the sunday morning. Can anyone help me with times of services?

Thanks

Jax

Don%26#39;t know exactly for Trogir, but generally in Croatia there is evening holy mass everywhere on Sundays and holidays. Wherever your parents stay there will be a church nearby, and it will be very easy to find out, everybody knows and the times are written at the entrances.

I have been into the service at the Cathedral of St Lawrence (Sv. Lovre) on a Sunday at about 6 pm. Trogir is so small that the aunties could go past it during the day to check times. Also, there is a nice church right on the Riva (has a cloister which is sometimes open) which also has an early evening service I believe. It%26#39;s called the church of St Nicholas (Sv. Nikole) I think.

The cathedral St Lawrence circa 11th century had mass every day as according to our host Vanja there are 3 priests in Trogir “nothing for them to do all day but make Masses

Of course there are masses every day in every church (with exception in very little villages and areas without inhabitants), but the question was about Sunday.

Please, do tell to Vanja that a Catholic priest must not have more than 3 masses per day, and that he has many other duties during the day.
