I have finally decided on a weeks holiday to makarska next august/september. I am undecided whether to book half board at the hotel or bed and breakfast. Could anyone advise on typical costs of evening meals in tourist resorts - I know it will vary from restarant to restaurant, but any info would be appreciated.

It depends what you like to eat, pasta, pizza, grilled meat, and local type cevapcici (like kebabs) and similar are very cheap. Fish is more expensive. A meal out for 2 costs me about £20 to £25.
