Cavtat v Lapad

We%26#39;ve booked flights to Dubrovnik for next month and currently researching accommodation. Trying to decide between Cavtat and Lapad.

Has anybody been to both? Which is better for water sports?

We went to Cavtat in June and the water sports at the Hotel Epidaurum were very good. Jet skis, boats, banana boat, scuba diving.

both are lovely

I dont know what age you are but bear in mind that Cavtat is a quiet little village with no loud nightclubs - more of a dinner, and drink after place with nice music. If you are looking for something %26quot;wilder%26quot; than that then I say stay in Lapad as Cavtat might be a bit out of the way or you - 15 km from dubrovnik

however if you want a lovely relaxing chilled out laid back holiday then Cavtat is your man

Thanks, we got back from Cavtat 2 weeks ago and had a brilliant holiday. We%26#39;re early 30%26#39;s so not looking for mad night clubs, really enjoyed Cavtat and look forward to going back to Croatia again....
