hi there

my girlfriend an i are going to be doing a sail croatia trip on 17 october, going from dubrovnik to split and back! just wondering what we should look to spend between us on a daily basis: dinner, a few drinks, sites during the day, or any other costs that might come up.

Impossible to answer your question. It depends on which islands you stop, small villages or larger towns and where you choose to eat. Also so often guests opt for a simple pizza rather then trying the fresh fish, which is the most expensive item on the menu. Table wine is less expensive than the excellent Mali Plavac. I assume your breakfast and lunch are on board your sailing vessel, so just plan to spend what you can afford.

Weather in Dubrovnik is nice, as of today, but we are expecting a storm on Saturday and Sunday. The average sea temperature is too cold for me to swim but many are still doing so every day. Just assume you will pay the same amount for a dinner as you would in you home town.
