Stayed in Suite Estate, the smallest of the three Saraca Apartments (Primavera, Autuno and Estate), for a week at the end of September 09. The apartments are in a brilliant location in the heart of Dubrovnik Old Town, and the people who run it are friendly and helpful. They also gave vouchers for free tea or coffee every day from a cafe nearby, which was a very pleasant break (the first time we used them the waitress didn%26#39;t seem familiar with the system but they worked fine thereafter). Suite Estate is small - not much larger than the bed, with a small kitchen unit. The self-catering facilities are basic - just hobs, fridge and sink, without an oven or kettle, and minimal utensils. Adequate for simple meals but not great for full-on self-catering. Bathroom was nice and looked fairly new; it doesn%26#39;t have a bath but the shower is good and there is plenty of hot water. Overall the apartment was good - TV was nice to have (a lot of programmes were in English with Croatian subtitles) and there was (much-needed!) air conditioning. Would recommend it for people who are not fussy, as a good value place to stay in the Old Town (we paid 50 euros/£45/330kn per night in September. You might find somewhere cheaper/larger in the new town, but these can be a fair walk/bus ride away, and we found it more fun staying in the medieval city!) The airport transfer service was very good and handy when we were arriving (we paid 200kn/£26 in total), but Atlas travel agency runs regular shuttle buses to the airport which we used on the way back. They were 35kn/£5 per person, and easy to find (check times the day before you fly from their office to the right of the Pile Gate on the way to Fort Lovrijenac). 7/10
