Dubrovnik in April

We are travelling to Dubvrovnik next April for 10 days and have 2 teenagers in toe. I believe the weather is a bit suspect then, can you suggest things to do and shopping, trips etc...

We are staying in an apartment behind Hilton Imperial so very central.

Any advice greatly appreciated, we are so looking forward to the adventure.

Some of the ferry boats, such as Cavtat and Lokrum and Elefiti islands may not be operating yet. If the winds are still coming in from the north and there%26#39;s rain, such as this year, the smaller boats will not be running. During the early spring many shops and restaurants will open but have shorter hours. Just be prepared, bring an jacket and umbrella and be prepared for lovely sunny days or wet and windy.
