I used Kompas Car Rentals in Croatia in September 2009 - I would stonrgly advise against usig them. They took an additional £800 from my credit card (in addition to the agreed rental price) on day one of the rental without my authorisation and were an hour late in picking up the car from Trieste airport.. When I refused to sign a blank cheque for them (being unaware that they had already taken an extra £800 from my account) they threatened to take our bags and our passports. They were intimidating, unprofessional and fraudulent. Do not use them.
